BSUPA National Sup Surf Championships

2018 is a milestone for BSUPA as it celebrates its 10th Anniversary of the BSUPA National Sup Surf Championships. It all started off as a group of enthusiastic waterman and women engaging in an exciting new ocean sport and over time developed into a National Championship. BSUPA now showcases the best of British in what has became the fastest growing participation water sport.

When: October 27th & 28th 2018

Entry categories for the BSUPA National Sup Surf Championships includes both amateurs and pros allowing anyone who wants to get involved the opportunity to enter. We fully welcome any new competitors who want to test the water and experience the rush and camaraderie of the competition. You will find the atmosphere enjoyable and friendly. Pros are also on hand for encouraging the young guns with helpful advise and tips. So whilst we are looking to crown champions, the weekend also offers like minds individuals the opportunity to meet up, socialise and free surf together.

You don’t have to be a pro to enter, just have a passion for the water and SUP.

The Championships Entry Categories

Now time to concentrate. The main national titles to be competed for will be:

Men’s Open
Women’s Open
Under 16 Boys
Under 16 Girls.
Divisions within main competition for Open Men and Open Women are as follows:

Open all ages
Seniors 28 – 35
Masters 35 – 49
Grand Masters 50+
The winner of the Open Men and Open Women Competition will also be awarded the coveted and exclusive Watergate Bay Waterman/Watergate Bay Women trophy.
